The City of Cranbrook is running a free program for inactive older adults called Choose to Move at the Western Financial Place beginning next week with an info session on January 27th, followed by the program on February 10th.
Choose to Move is a free program to provide support to older adults (aged 65+) to help them integrate activity into their daily routine. The program is funded by the Provincial Government and is facilitated by a fitness leader with experience working with older adults. If you have any clients who you think may benefit from this program please feel free to provide them with further information or encourage them to register at 250.489.0220/0221.
To complement this program, the Recreation Centre is also running ActivAge, a free 12-week group-led physical activity program for inactive older adults. Participants are welcome to register for both programs.
