National Injury Prevention Day, July 6

Parachute is Canada's national charity dedicated to injury prevention.

Mission and Vision:

We will create a safer Canada by preventing serious and fatal injuries through evidence-based solutions that advocate and educate.

We envision a Canada free of serious injuries, with Canadians living long lives to the fullest.

Parachute leads Canada's fourth annual National Injury Prevention Day on Monday, July 6 - a day to raise awareness about the devastating effects of predictable and preventable injury. The day, recognized an an official Health Promotion Day by Health Canada, features city proclamations, landmark lightups in Parachute "safety green", and widespread sharing of resources and messages through Parachute's partnerships and networks.
