Cannabis Dialogue Community Workshop

Parking: Parking is available in the area.

Refreshments: Coffee service will be provided.

Costs: There is no cost to attend.


Presented by the BC RCMP. The Cannabis Dialogue Workshop will bring together a number of sectors (community, health, education, youth, New Canadian, Indigenous, government) to share information about cannabis post legalization, provide an opportunity to ask questions, and to discuss strategies to foster safe and healthy communities.


The workshop will open with a keynote address from Stephanie Lake, BC Centre on Substance Use, followed by rotating small group discussions focused on gaining a better understanding of cannabis, cannabis laws, and prevention strategies.


This workshop is open to all agencies in Cranbrook and the surrounding communities.

Agencies interested in participating should submit their registration request to E_Crime_Prevention@rcmp.grc.gc.ca. Please indicate your agency name, candidate name(s), position(s) and contact email.


Registration closes September 9, 2019.
